Better late than never! Our 2025 annual report is now live. In 2025’s report we cover all the year’s not inconsequential challenges and the success we achieved in spite of them. To summarize our year, it was the most challenging yet. A lot of funding uncertainty, late hiring, and a government shutdown made getting out work done a challenge. Despite this, we were able to complete 9,761 acres of invasive species surveys and 114.72 acres of invasive species treatments. Another huge win for us was the completion of the DR-WLE CWMA’s first ever strategic plan (also available for view here on the website).
In spite of the hardships we and many others are continuing to face, the DR-WLE CWMA stays dedicated to invasive species management in Wayne and Monroe counties.
