Hi! Welcome!

Thanks for visiting the Detroit River-Western Lake Erie Cooperative Weed Management Area webpage. We are a team of biological professionals working to reduce and eradicate invasive species from the Detroit River, Western Lake Erie Basin, and Monroe and Wayne Counties. We are made up of five team members: Jessie, Chris, Tyler, Alexa and Michala, and have over twenty partners working with us.

We are housed out of the John Dingell Jr. Visitor Center at the Refuge Gateway Park in Trenton, MI. While the visitor center is currently not open to the public, we receive mail there (5347 West Jefferson Ave, Trenton, MI 48183), or can be contacted here.
